Aesthetic filling using the „Nature Aesthetics“ method

The unique aesthetic filling technique used by dentist Gintarė Žmuidinavičienė – for exceptionally natural corrections of dental defects and a flawlessly aesthetic smile

About the procedure

The essence of the „Nature Aesthetics“ method is to restore what’s missing from the tooth while maximally preserving its natural tissues and maintaining its most natural appearance. A special layering technique is used, allowing the recreation of exceptionally natural colour transitions, a more translucent incisal edge of the tooth and similar effects.

About the procedure

Advantages of the „Nature Aesthetics“ method

Aesthetic filling with the „Nature Aesthetics“ method is one of the most tissue-preserving tooth restoration techniques. With this method, teeth are not ground down — only the surface is roughened — so the teeth remain vital and their tissues are not damaged.

icon

The composites used for tooth restoration meet the highest aesthetic requirements, and a wide range of shade options and combinations allows the creation of a truly natural look, often invisible to the eye.

icon

Modern bonding systems ensure strong adhesion between the composite material and tooth tissues, allowing reliable reconstruction of small chips, cracks, correction of defects in front and back teeth and restoration of their function.

Aesthetic filling with the „Nature Aesthetics“ method is most often carried out in a single visit, so you can enjoy the result straight away.

When this procedure is recommended

Aesthetic filling with the „Nature Aesthetics“ method is recommended:

For minor wear or chipping of the incisal edges (tooth edges);

For mismatched tooth lengths;

For unwanted gaps between teeth when the teeth are anatomically narrower;

For old, poor-quality or leaky fillings;

When you are dissatisfied with tooth shape or colour and want essential yet natural-looking and unnoticeable changes to your smile.

Benefits of the procedure

Aesthetic filling with the „Nature Aesthetics“ method does more than create a remarkably natural and aesthetic smile. During aesthetic filling, tooth function and proper occlusion are also restored. It is very important to restore worn central and canine tooth defects in time — this restores their full function and protects the weaker second teeth from excessive load, which can cause them to fracture.

How tooth restoration is performed

icon

During the consultation, the patient’s concerns are heard, expectations discussed, the oral cavity and teeth examined, any damage and the bite evaluated, and it is decided whether aesthetic filling with the „Nature Aesthetics“ method is the most suitable option. If so, an appointment for aesthetic filling is scheduled.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia.

The natural tooth structure is restored using a unique layering technique, achieving even colour, translucency, an impeccable shape and an exceptionally natural aesthetic look. The surfaces are then polished so that the restored teeth are smooth and look as natural as possible.

icon

During one visit, up to 6 teeth are usually restored. Filling all teeth at once makes it easier to recreate their correct proportions.

Full restoration of one tooth — changing its shape, proportions and colour — takes about an hour. If only worn incisal edges need to be restored, 30 minutes is enough.

Important things to know after the procedure

Fillings usually last around 5–10 years. Their lifespan depends not only on the quality of the procedure, but also on oral hygiene, filling size, chewing intensity and other factors. These tips will help you enjoy the achieved result for longer:

To maintain the gloss and colour of the fillings, aesthetic polishing is recommended each year.

If you grind your teeth, wearing a bruxism guard at night is recommended for wear prevention.

Avoid biting very hard foods with filled teeth.

Use low-abrasivity toothpaste for filled tooth care (the abrasivity index (RDA) should be no higher than 50).
