All-ceramic veneers are very thin (0.3–0.5 mm thick) porcelain plates that cover the outer surfaces of natural teeth.
Thin ceramic veneer plates absorb, reflect and transmit light in exactly the same way as natural teeth, so they look exceptionally natural. Veneers can be made in the desired colour, shape and length, hiding an unsatisfactory natural tooth surface.
The surface of the natural tooth is processed minimally invasively. A veneer is then individually made in the dental technician’s laboratory and bonded to the prepared tooth surface with a special adhesive. After just a few visits, the patient can enjoy a new, brighter, exceptionally natural-looking and long-lasting smile.
Visit I (15–30 min). During the consultation, expectations and possibilities are discussed and a dental examination is performed: caries-damaged teeth, dental arches and the bite are evaluated by analysing a panoramic X-ray (which you must bring with you).
Visit II (30 min). Impressions and facebow and bite registrations are taken for preliminary wax-up of the future tooth shape and smile measurement. The face, smile and dental arches are photographed.
Visit III (1 hour per tooth). Under local anaesthesia, the teeth are processed minimally invasively, impressions are taken for the final veneers and, during the same visit, temporary plastic veneers are placed, made directly from the preliminary model of the future teeth prepared by the dental technician. The future smile is tried in, tooth shape and length are checked, and the colour is selected.
Visit IV (30 min per tooth). Under local anaesthesia, the temporary veneers are removed and the porcelain permanent veneers made by the dental technician are tried in. If everything fits, they are cemented straight away and the patient leaves with a stunning new smile.

How can I tell which is better — aesthetic filling or dental veneers?
Aesthetic filling is more suitable when only minimal tooth correction is required: e.g. restoring a worn incisal edge or adjusting tooth shape by adding only the corners without covering the entire tooth surface. In other cases, when you want to change tooth colour or the entire outer surface, the choice is between veneers and aesthetic filling. The choice depends on the patient’s financial possibilities, as veneers are a larger investment.

What materials are veneers made from?
At our clinic, veneers are made from glass-ceramic (feldspathic) and Emax ceramic. The choice depends on aesthetic expectations, bite, and the intensity of any teeth grinding.
How many visits are needed for front-tooth restoration with veneers?
To restore teeth with veneers, 3–4 visits are needed, depending on whether veneer adjustments are required. All teeth are prepared in the same visit, and cementation is also done in one visit.
How long do the procedures take?
Can I eat right after the dental veneer procedure?
Yes, you can eat straight away.
How should teeth be cared for after the veneer procedure?
After the dental veneer procedure, you should come back for a check-up in 2 weeks. Afterwards, veneers should be cared for like your own teeth: clean between the teeth with dental floss and interdental brushes, and have professional oral hygiene at least once a year.
How long do dental veneers last? Will they need to be replaced after some time?
With good care, dental veneers can last 15 years or more. With good individual oral hygiene, wearing a bruxism guard at night, avoiding very hard foods and following the dentist’s recommendations, their service life can be even longer.
How much does a dental veneer procedure cost?
Coverage of one tooth with a veneer costs from €700 (the price includes tooth preparation, impressions, temporary and permanent veneers, and cementation). The cost may also vary depending on the type of ceramic chosen.
